This article intends to make an incursion into the History of Mathematics in search of approximations of the number π, with the aid of the TI-Nspire CX II-T Technology from Texas Instruments. Our journey begins with approximations made by the Babylonians, jumping to Ancient Egypt, passing through Ancient Greece and China. We have not forgotten Archimedes, with an approximation to the definition of a limit, until we reach the present day. We end with the formula presented by Ramanujan that leaves us completely surprised, or not, with the incredible accuracy of his approximations for a single iteration. Computational Thinking, as Problem Solving, is always present throughout this text, which is why we dare to say that the theme of the History of Mathematics is a magnificent example of the application of this theme.
